Definitely easier in the morning. I've gotten up purposefully earlier to make sure I get in my sun salutations AND my designated run. Afternoon yoga isn't that difficult, and is actually welcomed but getting out the door (especially with how cold it's gotten in Toronto in the morning) has been a challenge.
I read this Forbes article on 5 things successful people do before 8am. Guess what the first thing is... exercise! Before 8am is a bit of a stretch but I'll do it. I also plan out my day only because I forget what I have to do so easily that I won't do anything if it's not written down. Except make muffins or apple chips. There's always time for that.
I'm trying to incorporate the rest of these things which seem quite quick and painless to do, but the last week has really made it clear that productivity really goes up when physical activity is done first thing. Why? I don't know. Does it matter?
I challenge myself... a lot.
