I went into the Running Room yesterday... does that count? One of the many things I did during my second 12-hour day in a short span. I was tired. That's it.
While standing on a surprisingly busy subway at 8pm during a longer than usual trip home (subway delay at the end of a long day...brutal), the same thought occurred to me as it did last week, "oh crap, I still have to exercise". Usually I'm very good at spinning things like this into a positive and I'm sure it would have felt amazing to have my shoulders stretched out by yoga, but I was just tired. I opted for comfort food and the couch instead. What's my comfort food you ask? Beans in tomato sauce with a whole bowl of iceberg lettuce. I know what you're thinking: wooooah, slow down there!
After heading to bed earlier than I'd like to admit, I was quite active today and had been up until yesterday. I biked and yoga'd on Saturday, doubled-down on Sunday with both a 10-k run and an hour of biking, and Monday was more yoga and all my exercises from Matthew. So, given the success of the past 24 days, I feel very good with my progress, I feel back on track, and I'm excited to round out this challenge strong in the next week! And, most importantly, I'm happy that I've listened to what I
I challenge myself... a lot.
